CHEMICAL PEELS
What Is a Chemical Peel?
A chemical peel is a professional exfoliating treatment. A carefully chosen solution is applied to the skin to loosen and remove dull, damaged surface cells so fresher, smoother skin can come through.
Peels are one of the most effective ways to improve tone, texture, and clarity, especially for skin that sees a lot of Florida sun.
How a Chemical Peel Works
Every peel starts with a look at your skin, your goals, and your history. Alyssa chooses the type and strength of peel for your skin, cleanses and preps the area, applies the solution, and finishes with soothing products and sunscreen. Depending on the peel, you may see little to no visible peeling or a few days of light flaking as old skin sheds. Many patients get the best results from a series of peels spaced several weeks apart.
What Can a Chemical Peel Improve?
Chemical peels can help with:
Dull, tired-looking skin
Uneven skin tone and sun spots
Fine lines and rough texture
Clogged pores and breakouts
Mild acne marks
Skin that does not absorb skincare well
A Peel for Your Skin
Peels are not one-size-fits-all. Alyssa adjusts the peel to your skin type, your concern, and how much downtime you can plan for.
Glow & Brightness

Tone & Sun Damage

Best For: Sun Spots • Uneven Tone
Paired Treatments
Peels pair well with dermaplaning, SkinPen® microneedling, and medical-grade skincare.
Best For: Complete Skin Plans
What to Expect After a Chemical Peel
Your skin may feel tight or look slightly pink for a few hours to a day. With some peels, light flaking starts a couple of days later and settles within about a week. Do not pick or peel flaking skin. Use gentle skincare, keep skin moisturized, and wear sunscreen every day, because fresh skin is more sensitive to the sun. See all of our facials.
