Before your appointment, we recommend avoiding blood thinners such as aspirin, ibuprofen, fish oil, and alcohol for at least 48–72 hours to minimize bruising. After your treatment, avoid strenuous exercise, excessive heat (saunas, hot yoga), and sleeping face-down for 24 hours. You should also avoid pressing or massaging your lips for at least a week. Any swelling or bruising typically subsides within a few days.
