Under-Eye PRP in Sarasota
Brighter. Smoother. More Rested. Without Under-Eye Filler.
Alison Chafin, APRN-C, treats under-eye hollows, dark circles, and crepey skin with Cellenis® Derma PRP, a regenerative treatment made from your own plasma.
FILLER-FREE UNDER-EYE REJUVENATION
A Gentler Approach to Tired-Looking Eyes
The under-eye area is one of the most delicate parts of the face. The skin is thin, the anatomy is complex, and small changes in volume or skin quality can make you look tired even when you feel rested.
Instead of placing hyaluronic acid filler under the eyes, Alison uses Cellenis® Derma PRP. Treatment begins with a small blood draw. Your blood is processed to concentrate platelet-rich plasma, and plasma proteins can be prepared into a soft, gel-like matrix.
Because it comes from your own blood, under-eye PRP is an autologous treatment designed to support collagen, improve skin quality, and add subtle support where hollowness creates shadows.

WHY PRP INSTEAD OF FILLER
Why Alison Uses PRP Under the Eyes, Not Filler
Hyaluronic acid filler can be an excellent tool in other areas of the face, but the under-eye area comes with unique challenges. Thin skin can make filler visible or give it a bluish cast, and filler under the eyes can hold water and look puffy when it isn't the right fit for your anatomy.
Natural-Looking Improvement
Subtle, gradual changes that help you look rested, not "done."
Made From Your Own Plasma
No manufactured filler product is placed under your eyes.
Supports Skin Quality
Platelet-derived growth factors play a role in tissue repair and collagen production, helping thin, crepey skin over time.
Gentle Volume Support
The Derma PRP gel matrix can soften mild hollowness and tear trough shadowing.
No Filler to Migrate or Puff
Without hyaluronic acid filler under the eyes, there is no filler to shift, swell, or show through thin skin.
HOW IT WORKS
Your Under-Eye PRP Treatment, Step by Step
Consultation. Alison evaluates your under-eye anatomy, skin quality, pigmentation, and what is actually causing your concern. Not every dark circle comes from volume loss, so this step decides whether PRP is the right choice.
Blood Collection. A small amount of blood is drawn, similar to a routine lab draw.
Plasma Preparation. Your blood is processed with the Cellenis® system to separate the platelet-rich plasma and prepare the Derma PRP treatment material.
Precise Placement. Derma PRP is carefully placed under the eyes according to your anatomy, and we take steps to keep you comfortable throughout.
Gradual Results. Some patients notice an early change, while improvements in skin quality and collagen develop over the following weeks to months. Some patients benefit from more than one session, and Alison will recommend a plan for you.
UNDER-EYE CONCERNS
What Under-Eye Concerns Can PRP Help?
Under-eye PRP may be considered for:
Under-eye hollows and tear trough shadowing
Dark circles caused by thin skin or shadowing
Crepey, thin, or finely wrinkled under-eye skin
Fine lines around the eyes
A tired or fatigued appearance
Patients who want an alternative to under-eye filler
Patients who have had under-eye filler dissolved and want a different approach
Some causes of dark circles, such as genetic pigmentation, allergies, or significant under-eye bags, may need a different treatment or a combination approach. Alison will explain what PRP can and can't realistically improve for you.
UNDER-EYE PRP VS. FILLER
Is Under-Eye PRP the Same as Tear Trough Filler?
No. Both can improve the look of under-eye hollows, but they work very differently.
Tear trough filler is a manufactured hyaluronic acid gel placed to replace volume. It works right away, but under thin under-eye skin it can sometimes look puffy, bluish, or overdone.
Under-eye PRP uses your own plasma to support skin quality and gentle volume. Results are more gradual and subtle, which makes it a good fit if you want to look rested, not filled.
ALREADY HAVE UNDER-EYE FILLER?
Unhappy With Previous Under-Eye Filler?
If filler from another injector has left your under-eyes puffy, bluish, or uneven, Alison can evaluate it and discuss whether dissolving with Hylenex® makes sense before moving to a regenerative approach.
Many patients are surprised to learn that the "tired" look they were trying to fix was made worse by filler. A careful assessment comes first, and the goal is always to look like yourself, just more refreshed.

YOUR SARASOTA UNDER-EYE PROVIDER
Why Choose Alison for Under-Eye Rejuvenation?
Every injectable treatment at Injections & Co., including under-eye PRP, is performed by Alison Chafin, APRN-C. Her approach is conservative and anatomy-first, which matters most in an area as delicate as the under-eyes.
She will tell you honestly whether PRP, a skin treatment like SkinPen® microneedling or the Aerolase® laser, or a combination makes the most sense for your eyes.
She will never recommend treatment simply because an area can be treated.
Our approach is simple: improve what needs improvement while preserving what already looks like you. Learn more about Alison.
