What Is Restylane® Filler?
Restylane is a family of FDA-approved hyaluronic acid (HA) dermal fillers made by Galderma. Each Restylane® product has its own texture and firmness, so different formulas can be used to soften lines, add natural-looking lip volume, or restore lift and contour to the cheeks and chin.
Because the line is so versatile, Restylane® lets Alison match the product to the area and the result you want, whether that is a subtle lip refresh or more structure along the midface and jawline.
How Restylane® Works
Hyaluronic acid is a sugar your skin makes naturally to hold moisture and volume. As we age, we lose both hyaluronic acid and collagen, which leads to deeper lines, thinner lips, and flattened cheeks. Restylane® fillers replace that lost volume with a smooth hyaluronic acid gel. Some Restylane® products are firmer for lift and structure, while others are softer and more flexible for areas that move. Most Restylane® products contain lidocaine to help keep you comfortable during treatment.
