What Is Kybella®?
Kybella® is an FDA-approved injectable that improves the appearance of moderate to severe fat beneath the chin, often called a double chin, in adults. It contains a synthetic form of deoxycholic acid, a molecule your body already makes to help break down dietary fat.

How Kybella® Works
Alison places a series of small injections into the fat under the chin. Kybella® destroys the fat cells it reaches, and your body clears them away naturally over the following weeks. Once those fat cells are gone, they do not come back, so the results are designed to last. Most patients need two to four treatments spaced at least a month apart, and some need up to six. What to Expect From Kybella®
Treatment takes about 15 to 20 minutes. Swelling under the chin is normal and is actually a sign the product is working. It is usually most noticeable for the first few days and can last a week or two, so many patients plan their first session around a quieter week.
